Botanicare Cocogro -1.75 cu ft loose bag

Cocogro has a very low salt content that is available in 1/2″ double-sieved long fibers to reduce dust and give ample space within the mix. Cocogro has excellent drainage properties and can be used over a longer period of time than coir fiber with shorter fibers. With longer fibers and reduced dust, growers will experience an optimal air to water ratio, which is vital for strong root development. Cocogro is unique because it is not chemically treated like other coir fibers on the market. Cocogro is a superior coir fiber because it is aged a minimum of 18 months and has finished its decomposition stage. In addition, Cocogro is exposed to rain water from at least three monsoon seasons, which naturally washes away harmful salts out of the final product. Most other coir fibers are only 4 to 5 months old and have excessive potassium and salts and thus have to be chemically treated

Grodan Rockwool - variety of sizes

Grodan Stonewool (rockwool) is made from molten rock spun into cotton candy-like fibers and then compressed into cubes, blocks, or slabs. Where other rockwool brand manufacturers cut all sizes from one batch of wool, Grodan is unique by making different types of fibers. The purpose is to support the requirement of the plant in the different plant stages. Grodan has a tremendous capacity for absorbing nutrient solution while retaining plenty of oxygen for rapid plant growth. Grodan comes in graduated sizes. Seedlings started in cubes are easily transferred to blocks and then onto slabs, if desired. Seedlings or cuttings started in the Grodan cubes can also be transplanted into more traditional planters and growing mediums.

GROW!T Clay Pebbles

10L - 25L and 40L bags

GROW!T horticultural clay pebbles are made from 100% natural clay. They are clean, pH stable, and offer great aeration and drainage in hydroponics, especially in flood and drain, deep water culture, and drip feed systems. Due to their unique structure and ability to cover a large surface area, they offer the ideal environment to foster beneficial bacterial growth around the root zone, leading to naturally healthier plants.

GROW!T Clay Pebbles benefits:

  • Extremely stable in both pH and EC

  • Made from 100% natural clay

  • Strong structural integrity means that they are less likely to break and compact, which helps to prevent dripper systems from getting blocked

  • Pre-washed to aid in stability

  • Drains freely and does not hold any excess water, providing good oxygen levels around the root; suitable for flood and drain systems, multi-pot and drip feed systems

  • Pebble size 4mm – 16mm

GROW!T Clay Pebbles can be used for:

  • Aeration of growing media – ideal to mix into coco coir or soil to aid aeration

  • Drainage – will hold water as well as offering great aeration properties and free draining

  • Decoration – looks great as a top dressing for pots and also helps to prevent evaporation

  • Hydroponics/hydroculture – used widely in hydroponic growing, they are ideal for flood and drain, deep water culture and drip feed systems

  • Aquaponics – are also ideal to be used in aquaponic systems

When used in aeration of growing media, mix GROW!T horticultural clay pebbles into your coco coir or soil at a rate 4 parts clay to 7 parts soil to loosen up the structure, leading to better root development.

The exceptional physical properties of this perlite make it tops in the perlite world for adding porosity to soil and soilless mixes. This perlite has numerous hydroponic applications as well. The #4 is the largest perlite on the market and averages a whopping size of around 1 in. The #3 measures around 1/2 in and the Coarse is about 1/8 to 1/4 in.

Wiggle Worm Soil Builder™ Earthworm Castings

15 and 30 lb bags

Wiggle Worm Soil Builder™ Earthworm Castings Organic Fertilizer is an all purpose natural fertilizer that comes to you straight from nature with no alterations whatsoever. Our nightcrawlers are fed a very rich peat humus which contains a wide variety of minerals and trace elements. The earthworms digest this material and in its passage through the worm, it is beneficially altered both chemically and physically. The nutrients in our earthworm castings are plentiful. Most importantly, these nutrients are perfectly balanced in two forms. One form can be immediately absorbed by the plant as if it were directly injected, and the other form is able to provide nutrition which slowly feeds the plant for long periods of time.
